Welcome to Dilla Barcelona's Reggae vinyl section. Within our hand-picked catalog of over 4,000 records, reggae is a genre we treat with special attention — from Jamaican originals of the 70s to the most contemporary dub and dancehall from the 80s-90s.

Our selection covers the key reggae subgenres:

• Roots Reggae — the spiritual, conscious sound. Bob Marley, Burning Spear, Israel Vibration, Culture.
• Dub — the instrumental version with echo and reverb invented by Lee "Scratch" Perry. King Tubby, Scientist, Augustus Pablo.
• Dancehall — the digital reggae of the 80s that changed the rules. Yellowman, Eek-A-Mouse, Shabba Ranks.
• Ragga — the dancehall evolution with more electronic productions. Buju Banton, Capleton, Sean Paul.
• Lovers Rock — British romantic reggae of the 70s-80s.
• Ska / Rocksteady — the genres that preceded modern reggae. The Skatalites, Toots & The Maytals.

Every record comes with its verified Discogs condition (NM, VG+, VG, etc.) and sleeve graded separately. We have several Jamaican pre-press originals (the most sought after by collectors) plus European and American reissues in great condition.

Coming to Barcelona? Stop by our shop at Gran Via 498 (corner with Comte d'Urgell, Sant Antoni neighbourhood). We have copies of some classics not yet online — worth visiting. Open Tuesday-Thursday 11am-2pm and 5pm-9pm, Friday-Saturday 11am-11pm.
